Trucks, off-road vehicles, jets, drones, helicopters, ships or offshore maintenance vessels: In “Die Modellbauer” experienced and passionate model builder fiddle on exciting and spectacular models.

In Modelbuilders – The Next Generation, the model builders will no longer compete against each other in a duel, but the creation process of a model is the focus and is accompanied from beginning to end. However, the requirement to build a true to scale and prototypical model (scale) remains.

The jury, a two-member panel of experts, accompanies the entire construction phase, assesses functionality and design of the models, comments on the various work steps and arranges them for the viewer. Here, ideas and resourceful solutions are praised, creativity evaluated or simply certain, complicated work steps explained to the viewer.

Since 2009 Modelbuilding is a unique content for DMAX – with a loyal even worldwide fan base. After 4 series of “Modelbuilding – The challenge” it´s now time for the next step, for “Modelbuilders – The Next Generation”. The series not only features the pure fascination and the enthusiasm for technical miracles but focusses now more on younger model builders.
